Siegel & Bergman, LLC is a law firm providing quality legal services in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, tax planning, charitable planning, and land use and related real estate. We are located in the historic Morristown, New Jersey area, convenient to all parts of New Jersey.
The members of Siegel & Bergman, LLC, Anita J. Siegel and Willard Bergman, Jr., are former long term partners of Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP, a more than 100 year old Morristown law firm recently relocated to Florham Park. They formed this boutique law firm in June, 2006. Both members have been practicing law in Morristown their entire professional careers, representing clients from all over New Jersey.
With a combined more than 75 years of experience in the practice of law, we handle matters from the relatively simple and straight forward estate plans and trusts and estates to the extremely sophisticated estate plans and administration of trusts and estates. We provide high quality and efficient services with expertise in our areas of practice to a diverse group of clients including professionals, executives, owners of closely held businesses, working and retired individuals of all income and asset levels, and their families.
We assist individual clients to achieve their goals for the orderly disposition of their assets during the client’s lifetime and upon the death of the individual at the least tax cost to the family and beneficiaries of the client. We assist clients in achieving their charitable goals through proper lifetime and testamentary planned gifts. We also work with the trust departments of the major institutions, financial planners, brokers, investment advisors and accounting professionals who have a presence in the area and have a long-standing relationship with many of these institutions and firms.In addition, the firm provides comprehensive tax advice to individual and business clients.
We also represent individuals, business entities and charitable organizations in land use matters, including development applications (variances, site plans, subdivisions, etc.) before municipal boards in the Morristown area.
